Holiday Gifts for the guys in your life are always hard. BUT, what do all men need? They need to shave. I am THRILLED and HONORED to be sharing with you, West Coast Shaving, the solution to all your guy gift problems. There is so much amazingness to share so I’ll try to keep it short(ish).

It was such a treat to do a review for West Coast Shaving because all my husband has ever known in the shaving world is disposables. He’s always wanted but never got a real barber shave and with West Coast Shaving, he got the best and closest shave he’s ever had.

I’ll start with their selection. They have everything. EVERYTHING shaving related. Amazing quality, affordable prices, fantastic gift ideas, and a huge selection of products. Razors, Razor Blades, Creams, Soaps, Shaving Brushes, Shaving Kits, Safety Razors, Straight Razors, After Shaves and so.much.more.

The customer service was impeccable. I was able to work with Christine who is incredibly knowledgeable about all of the products they offer. She gave me suggestions, helped pick the perfect products for my husbands skill set, and she gave us some amazing and very helpful tips for shaving. Her advice was priceless and really helped Brian get the best shave possible. Shipping was fast and very well packaged.

Now on to the review: We reviewed the Edwin Jagger Double Edge Safety Razor. This is a good brush for people starting out but could last for decades, good quality, nice weight and size.
The Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream comes from a very well established English company that makes a great cream, with a good scent, at an affordable price. Finally we reviewed the Edwin Jagger Best Badger Shaving Brush which makes a good introductory brush. It’s made of badger hair which is a bit softer than boar hair but still keeps it affordable

Here is what they look like:

Since it was the hubs first time, he was a little apprehensive but once we got the blade and the razor all figured out, he was on his way. He said the shaving cream and brush were amazing. The cream came to a great lather, good thickness and good coverage. The blade itself was incredibly safe, he was worried about cutting himself but had no problems at all. Again, we used Christine’s tips: Let the blade do the cutting, no pulling like cartridge razors. Use a damp brush to whip up the cream into a lather which gave it the perfect shave consistency. Finally go against the grain.

Brian got an incredible, quality, close shave and he’s pretty much sold on shaving this way now. I’m actually interested in their lady products!

The bottom line is, every man would truly appreciate some quality shave products. With the holidays coming up, you have to check out West Coast Shaving for the perfect Shave Gifts and Accessories.
