The octopuses and jellyfish are crocheted with acrylic yarn and stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill. The eyes are made out of durable plastic. I use special safety eyes that have a washer on the back that prevents them from ever being pulled out. These materials mean the octopuses are totally washable and child-friendly.The Octopus body plush is roughly a three-inch (or eight-cm) sphere – think of the size of a baseball. The tentacles add about another two inches (5 cm) when they are hanging.
The Jellyfish body is about 5 cm tall and 4 cm wide and the tentacles add about another 6 cm of length.
AlyssaCritters sent us 3 adorable critters. 2 Jellyfish which Kaylin is calling both “squiddy” (We’re trying to teach her the difference between squid/jellyfish but she’s not having any of it, so Squddy it is!)
And for little man, Alyssa sent a green Octopus. They’ve made they’re way into being FAVORITES already. Kaylin slept with hers last night and I don’t see them being separated for a very long time. You HAVE to have these for your kids. They’re too cute to pass up.
Kaylin says they’re brother and sister. They haven’t left her side. Too TOO Adorable!
