Can I just show you the amazing craft I did from Poppy Seed Projects first? Because you’ll be in love, promise!
Do you just love this Christmas sign? Because I do. And my husband. And I really do. Because it’s amazing.
Here’s the picture that made me fall head over heels in love with Poppy Seed Projects….I think that is what “Frame Heaven” looks like.
Besides these amazing, unique, awesome frames that everyone drools over, Poppy Seed Projects is sooo much more. It was started by two friends who decided to help others create crafts in their own homes. They truly take the hard work and stress out of crafting. They offer affordable projects of all shapes and sizes for every occasion.
Besides offering crafting classes, they have a section to buy unfinished project kits. They have photo projects, signs, vinyls, frames and so much more. You can select a kit and the kit will have all of the supplies necessary to complete that specific project. The kit also comes with instructions and an idea of the difficulty level or skill level you’ll need to finish the project.
I just love the idea of not having to worry about purchasing the wood, the vinyl, the machine needed to make the vinyl, machine needed to cut the wood, etc. You simply purchase the entire kit from Poppy Seed Projects and you can make the amazing craft without any of the worry or huge cost of buying all the extras.
I made the Christmas sign which is in their holiday section. It had a Medium Difficulty level, I’m crafty (ish) I figured I could handle it. The sign reads: “Christmas. Wisemen still seek Him”.
The contents of my kit were as follows: Unfinished Wood Plaque, beadboard, metal board, Christmas Vinyl, Wisemen Vinyl overlay, nails, and the instructions.
I will admit I was a little scared about adhering the Vinyl to the metal but I found a great method I will share. Be careful peeling the backing off, I had to rub my fingers over the back of it to make sure the letters came up without being torn or twisted. Then, I taped it where I wanted it on the board. I ran a credit card back and forth over it to make sure it was completely adhered and the air was pushed out from between the sign and the vinyl.
And voila, the finished project. LOVE it! My husband was totally impressed by it. I love that I can say I made it but can’t even begin to stress how easy it was to just buy the unfinished kit. How fun would this be at a party? Everyone can make their own project their own way. I love it!
Please do yourself a favor and check out Poppy Seed Projects, share their awesomeness with your friends. You will NOT regret it!
